60 DAY INDO VISAS are STILL AVAILABLE - Although you can get a 30 Day Indo Visa on Arrival for $25, surfers wanting to stay longer can apply for a 60 Day Single Entry Tourist Visa before they come to Indo. The "Visitation Visas" are available from any Indonesian Embassy in the USA, valid for travel within the next 3 months. The application cost is $60 which is much cheaper than the cost of a return airfare from Bali to Singapore ($230) which is the only other option if you've arrived on a 30 Day Visa. So get that 60 day visa for double the fun! More info: Indo Embassy Washington DC Website

It doesn't look like the new VOA has changed Sosial/Budaya (B1/B2) visas. Still a great deal with total stay up to six months. I never realised a KIMS/KITAS holder could sponsor a sos/bud visa. People who do a sos/bud should remember that at 75/90 days they will be subject to Fiscal (1jt.) on depearture and will be required to register with the police.
