i will admit to trying a bic once. one of my cousins came down from up north and rented one on the beach. i will testify it rode like ***** <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/doah.gif" alt="" />

does bic make actual shortboards?

liek a 5'10" performanca squash or something? that would be sick hahah...


btw, in my opinion paper mate makes the better pen....they are cheaper, the plastic is more durable, and the ink is top notch

you'll understand that even MENTIONING BIC will get you a terrible flaming by everyone. Don't worry mate it's all in fun! Lee D can mention the B word but we all know he's crazy so it doesn't count. Good luck with getting a good custom board. Be sure to match it with your abilities and the waves you'll be most riding.

go back and read the entire post. i DONT like my BIC, thats the whole point of the thread! im going off on people that are being dicks because i bought one. I have other boards in my arsenal, the only problem is none of them are very long and i didnt have any of them with me. so, i found an awesome deal on a BIC 6'10 and got it. i dont understand why this makes me a kook. i dont drop in on people, i always respect elder and more expierienced surfers, and i try to stay out of peoples way as much as i can. the only thing "Kooky" that i did was help the corporate giants (BIC, Surftech, etc.) put the smaller shapers out of business. and for that im sorry and it wont happen again, believe me.
