this is an interesting thread to read 10+ years later.

Yall called it on some of the stuff. Although the big 3 seem bigger than ever and are mostly back to domestic.

As long as there are retail/wholesale material supply stores ie. FGH, neighborhood glass shops for the public, and even machine shops, there will be domestic board makers. Now, are they making a living? money? that's a different story, to each his own.....

Another year later, throw in Covid, and seems as though the domestic board makers are thriving!

Chalk that up to Covid shutting down the worlds shipping and manufacturing infrastructure me thinks.
