How much does a pardon cost these days?

Depends on how many pay up...

So it's not corruption when Obama does it? I'm confused

Also, FYI, there are a lot of other Presidents on that list besides Obama.

Pogue Construction is now run by Ben Pogue, Paul Pogue's son, who donated $85,000 last year to Trump Victory, the joint fundraising committee for the president’s reelection campaign and Republican National Committee. Ben Pogue also maxed out to the Trump presidential campaign, giving $5,600 in August 2019.

According to the Federal Election Commission, Paul's son, Ben Pogue — the new CEO of Pogue Construction — and Ben's wife, Ashleigh, made over $200,000 in donations to both the Trump Victory PAC and Trump's official presidential campaign.

In August of last year, Ben Pogue and his wife made a collective donation of $135,000 to Trump Victory. Ben also made an in-kind air travel donation to Trump Victory in September, The Daily Beast reported.

I think he really looks up to some of the older Republican posters here.

Too bad there weren’t any current pardon threads you could have added this impeachable bombshell to.

“President Trump has his own unusual approach to granting clemency. He tends to focus on famous people, especially those with ties to him — while also commuting the sentences of a small number of more typical prisoners who have a strong case for leniency.
If you want to read people debate the wisdom of the 11 specific pardons and commutations Trump issued yesterday, I’ve recommended several pieces below.
I’d like to focus on the broader picture — namely, the importance of pardon power in a criminal justice system as flawed and unfair as ours.
Roughly two million Americans are waking up behind bars this morning. The incarceration rate in the United States is more than twice as high as that of Brazil; more than four times higher than in Britain or Mexico; almost six times higher than in China; and almost 15 times as high as in Japan.
A central reason for American mass incarceration is the long prison sentences in our criminal codes, even for some nonviolent offenses. A second reason is the infrequency and arbitrariness of parole, as Jennifer Gonnerman documented in a recent New Yorker story. A third reason — arguably the least common but most outrageous — is wrongful conviction.
Clemency is rarely an easy decision for a president or governor, because it involves freeing somebody convicted of breaking society’s rules, sometimes violently so. But in a legal system that errs far too often on the side of harshness, clemency is vital. It’s a way to correct abuses, albeit one case at a time, until true criminal justice reform can occur.”

Does your post mean that presidents are not allowed to commute someone's sentence if the person contributed to the president politically?

Blagojevich served 8 years of a 14 year sentence for trying to sell Obama's old senate seat. Blagojevich was a democrat, and what he did is common practice in the Democrap party. A presidential pardon would say that a president believed the recipient to be innocent.Trump did not pardon Blagojevich. He commuted Blagojevich's sentence. That says Trump thought Blagojevich's sentence was too harsh for his crime. I agree with Trump.

Blagojevich's crime lies in running afoul of Obama and his goose-stepping Justice Department goons.

Maybe trump doesn't want to win but he can't bring himself to quit?

He wants the voters to put him out of his misery?
