Elections are a competition whether you like it or not. Pushing unlikable career politicians into the masses didn’t work with HRC. It only worked with Biden in 2020 because Trump was such a train wreck with Covid. I’m not sure that strategy will work in 24.

The Dems have some capable and likable people who IMO would be formidable adversaries to any Repub in the general. Booker, Brashear, and Whitmer immediately come to mind, I'm sure there are others. IDK if any of them want to run in '24, though.
IMO Joe blew it when he picked Kammie to be VP, bad choice for heir apparent. She's extremely unlikable, almost Hillary 2.0. Had he picked someone better he could have handed over the reins and sailed off into the sunset in his Sting Ray knowing the Dems had a lock on 2024.
