And the best things the democrats can come up with to combat this are HRC, Biden and Kamala. Why are Dems so big on unlikable career politicians
Always the Dems fault never the the fault of the gullible morons who inflicted Trump on the rest of us, didn't your team used to preach "personal responsibility"? As big of a fraud as "family values" and "fiscal responsibility"

Elections are a competition whether you like it or not. Pushing unlikable career politicians into the masses didn’t work with HRC. It only worked with Biden in 2020 because Trump was such a train wreck with Covid. I’m not sure that strategy will work in 24.

What happened to DeSantis ?? :) )

deepstate drove the morons right back to the loser !! )
Shitbag candidate on his best day. That doesn’t excuse the democrats from being asleep at the wheel for the last 7 years. JB from the beginning was a one term candidate while the democrats came up with something reasonable. Other than sex/race Ms. Harris was a chickenshit afterthought as VP. Can you remember anyone that thought she would be taking the conn as the leader of the free world from Biden in 2024? As a lifetime democrat voter you should be as disappointed as I am.

I have hope,

not faith !! :) )
Unfortunately for you, you’re close to the same age I am. As has been pointed out to me by the generation(s) after us, what we hope for and/or have faith in is of no importance. The same generation(s) that don’t know who Phil Guy was/is. Mucho menos Jimmy Reed. You still have that Jimmy Reed stuck in your truck music? Go sit in your truck and turn it up. As geezers that’s all we have left before the jackboots show up on our doorsteps. If you got it fixed throw some Jr. Wells on there. Do it for the children. Although they are of questionable value and not worthy, do it anyway. :waving:

The Dems have some capable and likable people who IMO would be formidable adversaries to any Repub in the general. Booker, Brashear, and Whitmer immediately come to mind, I'm sure there are others. IDK if any of them want to run in '24, though.

IMO Joe blew it when he picked Kammie to be VP, bad choice for heir apparent. She's extremely unlikable, almost Hillary 2.0. Had he picked someone better he could have handed over the reins and sailed off into the sunset in his Sting Ray knowing the Dems had a lock on 2024.

The Repubs also have some capable and likable people but since 2/3 of that party is a cult, none of the capable and likable people have a chance to even get to the general.
