If you "made money off it" by not selling when it peaked then you also lost money on it as it's now worth half of your initial investment.
If you invested $100K you're now worth $50K.
Meaning you've lost $50K.
I'm just pointing out your perspective, which I find unusual:
Stock goes up above purchace price = I made money
Stock goes down below purchase price = I lost nothing
yea, i havent offloaded any AARK yet. when i offload- i will have lost that money. if i keep holding it and it rebounds the money comes back. eventually i have faith it will even out or exceed my initial investment in the next 25 years of my life.I'm just pointing out your perspective, which I find unusual:

on top of that the gains ive made on palantir more than make up for the loss i have at the moment in AARK.
It varies, basically split whatever leftover money i have for any given week between palantir,apple,and, VOO

I'm telling my sons to always drive a beater, even on dates. I get that you have to demonstrate value, but if you're only demonstrating economic value, that's all they see you as.
