I mean, the ambulance charges a fortune and you could end up in it through no fault of your own. I always thought it's weird that these massive rescues are free. On Maui we always see helicopters, boats, and dozens of people working for hours because of some idiot. Why not at least charge them for a small fraction of the cost?I can just imagine making a rescue then demanding the victim's credit card and running it through those old credit card machines to submit with my incident report. How classy.
