We humans are not as significant as we think we are. There is no existential climate threat. Get over it. Such a threat simply doesn't exist. There are a million other more important things to worry about.
Wut - so you think it's not possible or that it is possible but couldn't have happened?

How can humans be considered to be insignificant in the context of planet earth?

What are like 5 of the million things that are more important than our habitat ?

You clearly think humans are more significant than we really are. We are barely more significant in the grander scheme of things than the ants you step over on the sidewalk. As Carlin said, this planet could shake us humans off like a couple of fleas. The basic human flaws of Hubris and apocalyptic thinking are what the climate cult exploits and you've got it bad.

Bigger things to worry about: Poverty, homelessness, crime, war, taxes, corruption.

No different than claiming based on the past 50 years that man made climate change exists or is some sort of major threat. All a blink of an eye in the grander scheme of things.
Don't look at me. :roflmao:

Let's not get too hasty. The Earth will be warming up. That is a fact. But it doesn't really matter because it would have anyways.

And guess what, it will cool back down again too. New York will be trapped under ice again like it belongs.

But thankfully none of this will happen as quickly as that pile of sh!t The Day After Tomorrow (I actually only watched the last 5 minutes but it was enough) portrayed.

How do you know what i think?

I was just asking why you think that (from what it seems) you think that it is not possible for humans to have an impact on the earth. Hubris clearly has no impact if so

Of course the 'earth' can shake us off like a couple of bugs

Just like we've shaken a couple of bugs off of the earth as well.

Do you like the plastics in your balls?

Would dropping 100 nukes impact the environment?

Probably nuclear winter where you wouldn't want to survive anyway.

With Biden at the helm, we're closer to it than Cuban missile crisis dayz of JFK.
So man can influence the environment. Gromsdad said no.

Anyone familiar with the 2022 Tonga volcano eruption that puked water vapor into the atmosphere? Water vapor is a potent greenhouse gas. Increased water vapor can trap more heat in the atmosphere, contributing to global warming.

Carbonbrief.org had this to say: "The eruption of Tonga's underwater volcano in 2022 may cause global temperatures to rise, raising the risk that at least one year in the next five will temporarily exceed the 1.5C warming threshold, new research finds." Source: https://www.carbonbrief.org/tonga-volcano-eruption-raises-imminent-risk-of-temporary-1-5c-breach/#:~:text=The eruption of Tonga's underwater, warming threshold, new research finds.

**not an expert** -- sharing interesting findings.

Seems to me you're agreeing that there are things more important that the climate. Our environment is a separate issue from your climate change cult by the way. I suggest you go do a beach cleanup.
I do beach clean up every time I surf. 10 pieces oftrash.

What’s most important - eating dinner, spending time with you kids or saving for your retirement? Does doing one get in the way of doing the other two? Your ”there are more important things” argument assumes we can only do one at a time, which of course is ridiculous.

Coastal SoCal has been mild again this year. Lots of cloudy days at the beach and low to mid 70s. I live a little inland and only using the AC at night just to drop the temp on the 3rd floor down 5 degrees.

You are demanding that people who are living life as usual prove that some catastrophic pseudo-science thing you cooked up in your head isn't happening.

Yeah, that'll work.

have you ever made a post that isn't a sad attempt at braggadocio?
