Me on the left, and the big guy 20W on the right.
This guy completed the classic in the 2nd worst conditions ever in race history. South swell and 15-20 MPH north winds crossed up to screw just about everyone. This was his first time. 20W was in an 18ft UL and I was on 12ft stock
20W got 26th place out of 95 including 15 people who dropped out myself included.
I missed the time cut about a mile from the R10 bouy. Random injury the day of and hell conditions Im surprised I made it 22.8 miles.Another paddle buddy even went hypothermic
conditions got so bad my boat was having trouble steering even. You instantly change direction from northwest to northeast. Brutal brutal day.
big props to anyone who made it past the first 10 miles!

You actually are a large muscular man(no homo) unlike the most of us internet legends. Again hats off, the training for that must have been absurd!gracias ppk...but not a first. following in the footsteps of a fewpaddle FREAKS who have posted here over the years.
