In Santa Barbara in the late 80s/early 90s, open carry hicks from San Luis Obispo would come down to party in Isla Vista, guns in holsters. From the looks on their faces and general attitudes, they seemed to be looking for trouble. I never saw any actual trouble with them but they certainly killed the vibe at the party if it wasn't a friend's house. So stupid.
I grew up here, graduated HS in 1988 and I’ve never seen anyone other than cops open carry here. Not one single time ever.

I remember one time watching TV and they reported on this guy who shot up hundreds of people with legally obtained semiautomatic firearms made to function as if automatic with the use of bump stocks. There was video of it. dead and injured concert goers everywhere

It is?

please help me understand the process to obtain CCW in NJ? Or a firearms ID card.

don’t send a link to nj.gov/gofuckyourself it’s a effing joke. I’m not saying these things should be easy.

The shenagans nj is playing with a-4366, a-4367, a-4368, a-4369, a-4370, etc is a sham. Waste of taxpayers dollars and won’t make for any meaningful change.

seems to be a rigored process. How many of you derelicts would pass as “a person of good character”?

Yes i am

Without bump stocks he could have killed more

Now, lets get to the problem at hand. Why did this story disappear? How did he get the guns in?

Bailey Schweitzer, a 20-year-old from Bakersfield, California, died in the shooting, according to ABC affiliate KERO-TV.

Her employer, Infinity Communications and Consulting, Inc., in a statement described her as a "ray of sunshine" in the office.

"No one could possibly have a bad day when Bailey was around," the company said.
