Duncan knows when the gophers are active. He smelled blood out front this morning. Literally waited stealth, like an ambush predator right by their holes until they pop their heads up... and then BAM!!! Chomps them by their head, shakes them viciously, snaps the spine, and then walks them over and drops them on the front door step like the good rodent hunting dog he is. Gopher hunting pics from this morning. Fox hunting picks from PB, where he swapped saliva with one unsuspecting victim, and "laid" the groundwork for the others ; )

I got pretty good at those metal traps when I was farming in CA. You just got to be ready to drop what your doing and set one every time you find a hole.
