Less motoring is not the same as no motoring. They were in a no motoring situation before due to transmission problems. The motor rebuild was done because it was convenient due to the lead time for machining the transmission parts.

I would happily go without motoring all together, if the harbors allowed it.

There's no reason for me to motor anywhere else but inside marinas.

When this diesel engine dies, I'll get an electric motor.

PS Keeping your motor in gear when sailing will make your transmission last longer.

Injector bolts done, new machined yesterday, last thing on the motor reassembly. Until the next thing.
