Were they looking at a tiktok or youtube while they were doing the work?I just watched two Gen Z kids here at the fire station break down a chainsaw to the bare bones and put it back together while explaining to the rest of us what they were doing every step.
Not too bad.
Sounds a bit like my parents. They were children of the depression, maybe WWII and my crazy youth was why they didn’t stay on top of me like I think I may have been with my own kids. Since I was born during WWII, I think I’m part of the silent generation but my wife says I cant keep my mouths shut.So many hert feewings on this thread...
The "silent generation/greatest generation" parenting style was mostly disengaged, let the kid's grow up free range. If they live, they live. And they probably lost a fair number of kids along the way.
They were kinda the last generation of what was normal for most of human civilization. It was perfectly normal to have 8 kids to work the farm and lose a few along the way, so as a parent you had to be detached, at least at some level.Sounds a bit like my parents. I had flames 12+ feet high once . . . Thought I was going to burn down the whole neighborhoodas long as you don't want it to catch fire
Yeah, and child labor was outlawed at around the same time. Glad I didn’t grow up normal. They were kinda the last generation of what was normal for most of human civilization. All these purple haired faggots, white self-loathers, trannies and Hamas sympathisers gotta face the real world at some point. Then it's sink or swim. The youth have always looked like sh!t in the eyes of the adult world, but most grow up to be reasonable people. Companies still gotta make money and will employ those who can provide value.
Obviously, coming from some weirdo campus life and then being tasked with providing a livelihood for oneself is gonna be a tall order, but most will adapt fairly quick.
Ted Nugent ft. 8ChanThis could be lyrics in a song.
I will write when Thruster wins and start my DT tribute band.
Dude, scared the sh!t out of me. Both my Dad and father in law had same thing happen.I had flames 12+ feet high once . . . Thought I was going to burn down the whole neighborhood
I sure do miss Aloha Airlines and their "Fat Albert's" (long range 737's) & the Direct Flights from Hawaii into JW Airport in Orange County. It certainly beat going into LAX and having to drive South from there or north, from San Diego.Me Mum used to work near the OC aeropuerto and she used to see ol Johnny Boy often tee totaling in the afternoon at one of the pubs nearby. He was left alone pretty much but I can see him muscling his way through a crowded bar for sure. When he died they named the airport after him.
