I have a former coworker who got big in to design and fabrication,
but he's mostly making cool geometric designs to hold toothbrushes
and such....crazy Escher-esque stuff nonetheless.

I have a friend in the boat business. They actually use a machine similar to the machine that cuts surfboards just supersized. Its basically a 100+ foot long shaping machine. In the old days a plug was made out of wood and the mold was cast on that. Today they make a form similar to a surfboard blank out of wood and clay. The machine then cuts the hull. It then gets scrubbed out and coated with resin. Then the final mold is made off of that.

Steps:


1 Get some Viagra
2 Grind up into a fine powder
3 Mix with water to form a slurry
4 Put slurry into printer cartridge
5 Put cartridge into 3-D printer
6 Press 'Go' on printer
7 Printer 'reads' the 3D model to be output and sprays slurry appropriately
8 Once object complete, remove from printer and ingest per prescription
9 Ignore any blue aura, it is just a side-effect of the drug
