Joe campaigned on ending Fosil Fuel and sent a clear message to invest elsewhere

This changed the world we live in today

Joe had No clue to what negatives would come from his decisions

Trump did and was shut down in the debates when he questioned this
producers were under-producing well before then

since then producers have actually reduced production further to recover profits lost during covid demand drops

they continue to depress supply

gasoline companies are overcharging at the pump relative to global commodity prices

those same companies are earning record year over year profits

this has all been stated and corroborated with source material

but here you are, still saying stupid things and complaining when you could be learning and having fun

Despite the obvious connotations of using "world order," I'm sure the context probably had something to do with RUSHA. This 1950s Cold War sphere of influence bullshit is just as offensive as the one world government globalism bullshit

Americans should never be suffering financially because our government wants to make a moral point. If Russia is a problem for Europe, Europeans should be dealing with it. We'll stick to the Monroe Doctrine

Somebody in my part of town bought a Rivian, seen him driving around several times. Was driving with wifey today and saw it, explained what it was. She said "looks cool but why does it have to be so huge?"

Rivian truck is more of a Tacoma size.
I wouldn't call Tacoma huge.

Gotta put those batteries somewhere.

From Nov. 16, 2021 on page 1 of this thread.

Months before Putin, huge inflation and recession talk were in trendy in the news......

Gasoline is now more expensive in CA than Hawaii, which almost always was highest. I remember a few times CA was a bit more than Hawaii, but usually only during seasonal fuel blend changes and only for a few weeks to a month or so. Now CA is off the charts higher than most everywhere, with new heights reached every week or 2 the last few months. Some areas over $5 for regular. Some more ritzy and/or remote areas well above 5$.

When I left Oceanside June 30, cheapest was $3.89-$3.99 a gallon. Now, my cheapo station is $4.29 and this is well after the seasonal blend changes. No sign of prices dropping soon. Biden and team are stocked.

These price spikes that last for more than a few months cause recessions if not curbed soon. If these prices stick for many more months, we'll see inflation like we haven't seen since the 70's, if we aren't there already.

Maybe Biden's team will offer gas vouchers for the poor and lower middle class?
They want to do it for everything else.
Ahh, the good ole days of $4-$5 gas in So Cal (8 months ago).

Gee, it's like I saw the obvious coming.

This was back when "transitory" was the fad gadget speak of the day.:monkey:

They're in more economy of scale trouble than Tesla is/was.

They're also having to raise prices on vehicles, instead of coming down like most "electronics gadgets".

Inflation will kill them off before they can barely get started, if they're not careful and not burn threw all their VC cash stash.
