It's pretty oversized for you, but I'd like to watch you surf it, with that rail line.ghostshaper said:wow, had no idea that you got a roundpin. dig the channels, too
OMG, I just cameJ_D_J said:Here is the Entity twin with channel that I bought from Gary at the BoardRoom. There are no dims written on the board that I can read but I would say it's around 6'0, 19 3/4, 2 1/2 with low rails. Stocked!
Try the new T1 in alpha with V2 foil. Those may work.theGraft said:Anyone know a good alternative to the Aipa twins that maybe are a tad smaller? I'm feeling I might be a little to light for them.
That is a lot of volume and those RTTs are pretty hefty in the rails. It will grovel reasonably well - but not like a full on grovellor. My experience was that it was a fun board in smaller conditions, but it has too much rocker to really get it going. More like a DD. I think the CV1 would be a better choice if you are only going to be riding it in those sort of conditions. http://garymcneillconcepts.com.au/cv1/Mat6920 said:I was looking at a groveller type of board for summer and just came across a gumtree ad of someone selling his RTT flax
Its a 5'10"
Width: 20 3/4"
Nose width: 16 1/2"
Tail width: 15 1/2"
Thickness: 2 7/8"
Looks like a lot of volume, i m 6'1 and 84 kg (185), fit.
To RTT owner, you reckon this board can work well in 1-2 foot / a bit mushy type of condition ? or it s made for clean point break mostly ?
Very nice! I have a RTT on its way, and I'm already looking into maybe getting an Entity pin as a step up for that upcoming trip I quizzed you about.I just dropped some coin on a new Entity swallow tail: 5'11 x 19 3/4 x 2 7/16, 5 fin Futures with carbon rails and some fluid art from Sharon Blair. 4 week turn around. If you've never had one of Gary's boards, you're missing out! Incredible workmanship, great boards, indestructible construction. I've had my RTT for 3 years, and it still looks the same as when I got it. Great price too!
Exactly the same experience.Tru Aimes made fins for Gary s board, he is selling his '' own fins '' now. Twin set or quad. I sold my cv2, it was a great board but i never really found where it would go in my quiver, not a small wave board and for good waves i prefer a shortboard design, shame.
