Which front traction did you use?I tried this for the first time today. Felt great IMO. Feels good while paddling and feels awesome underfoot while riding.
I wouldn't do this on all my boards but I feel like it's a nice addition on small wave shortboards. The board, in this case, was a 5'10 varial uber drive and I was actually hoping it would add a bit of weight.
Hey man, this might be the solution you are looking for. It’s like wax, but doesn’t really melt, and peels off when you are done, unlike a traction pad.Hey guys,
I wondered how many of you are running front traction pads on your boards?
I’ve had a couple of mishaps with melted wax, the last couple of days, and am seriously considering throwing one on. I’m not gonna be punting any airs, anytime soon, so I’m wondering if it’s complete overkill?
Octopus front and back. I like the corduroy front traction pad. You get all the grip you need, it feels like a softop, but then shreds like a shortboard.Which front traction did you use?
This was the other brand I tried.Hey man, this might be the solution you are looking for. It’s like wax, but doesn’t really melt, and peels off when you are done, unlike a traction pad.
It’s bit pricey though.

Fuck, I’m a sucker for cold hard logic. There goes that idea... will just have to deal with the bukkake tears i guess.waxfoot you're gonna have to change your handle now.
tractionpadfoot doesn't have quite the same ring to it though...
Removing shitty traction pads from used boards is the worst. Can only imagine the PITA of getting a big ass front traction pad off. Board would have to really be worth it.been on marketplace a lot lately. whenever i see a board marred with front traction i either completely write it off or subtract $200 from what im willing to pay for it. has to be others who feel similar because those boards do not sell.
