Mostly twins feel looser and more free to me. Both fin set ups felt fast, though twin may be faster. quads and me don’t agree when surfing on the face of the wave. I found it harder to go vertical and it would kind of fight me if I remember right (it’s been awhile). I do like quads in barrels and bigger surf though.

The one exception was my Roberts dream catcher. The quad tears were closer together and I could actually tolerate that board as a quad in average surf. At this point I think I only have one board with the quad option, a step up, and I haven’t even used it as a quad.

DJ is pretty damned accessible and will be able to dial in whatever you want, IMO, whether quad or twin.
He's very familiar with lots of "big name" shapers' models and has been making his own $$ shapes for years.
Not to be slept on...dude has skills!

Yeah he’s been on my short list of who to get a board from for awhile. Did him and tomo have some kind of connection or am I mixing things up?
