For my small wave groveller.
Where do I put my fins, and how much toe-in & Cant do I want?
were talkin about a 6'6" x 12 x 18.5ish wide x 15ish, 2 3/8ish" thick destined to surf knee high mush.

Feel free to get really specific as far as how far forward & far out for the side fins, and how far back for the center, and all that jazz.

Mucho apreciated

Aren't those rails pretty parallel?

Shorter, thicker and wider is my preference for a small-wave board. 2 3/8 might be plenty thick for you, but 6'6" x 18.5" sounds way off for what you want. I think you'll find something a few inches shorter but and inch (or even more) wider takes off better in little slop, and has a better turning radius, especially since you won't want too much rocker in it!

I don't know sh1t about fin placement, though.

Yea, what spray said. 6'6" for a fish x 18.5? How tall are you? As far as fin placement-front fins usually go about 11 to 11 1/2 up from the tail. 1 inch from the rail, with 6 to 8 degrees of cant depending on your bottom contour. Concave needs more cant like 8, and flatter bottom uses less, like 6 degrees. Rear fin at 3 to 3 1/2 up from tail. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

well... im 5'8" 143 lbs.
so perhaps a 6'3" x 19 5/8". should I make adjustments to my nose/tail widths? 12" and 15" respectively. Or for my stern? im thinking about 4 inches, not sure till ive drawn it.

Many thanks on the fin data.
