Those old Futures ones, the ones that show a patina, are the best. I still have one that seems to work even when the grub screw feels "stripped" with other keys.

I get bummed everytime I think about LokBox not becoming the dominant system. imo best fin system ever made. A Pavel and CB are my last two lokbox boards
Red-X was a good system too, for the surfer; can't speak to the shaper/glasser perspective. Are they still around?
A-Duff, I don't think you're gonna get the same traction as the Leash Strings thread did. 
not sure but the nice thing about that system was the screw was the weakest part and would rip the fin out. So if you ran over a rock or a kook you only needed a fin and screw replace instead of a fin box repair. Good for surf trips
Yeah, but a flat head screw? That has slip-and-punch-a-hole-in-your-board written all over it.
