Pico said justice prevailed in AA but not with KR. Which is a direct critique of how the legal system played out in those cases. Can you read? Seriously.

In reality, both cases played out exactly as the system intended- where a jury unanimously decides if there is sufficient evidence to find someone guilty of a crime. Which there was far more of in the case of AA, and conflicting evidence in the case of KR.

Conflicting evidence = reasonable doubt = expectation of a not guilty verdict, even if that person actually is guilty and/or exercised poor judgement
"This is not an example of the justice system working. Police didn’t arrest these men. Prosecutors didn’t want them charged. The video wasn’t released initially. It took outrage and pressure to make this happen." You know this. You know this very well could have been Justice deprived as n the KR case where you had a bent Judge

They were tried and convicted.

You do realize that in America judges are supposed to do everything in their power to ensure the accused gets all of the protection he/she is constitutionally afforded?

Except it did work

Why are you trying to make things worse than they are?

You said: “No. It shows that justice works in some places and not innothers”.

So now you are saying it didn’t work in AAs case . . . Um, ok? Make up your mind. I agree that there shouldn’t have been such long delays in bringing this to trial.

You know this very well could have been Justice deprived as n the KR case where you had a bent Judge
The judge had very little impact. The video evidence shows plenty of evidence that KR feared for his life and did his best to retreat before shooting. That right there is your reasonable doubt. Having the prosecutors star witness give a contradictory statement also provided more reasonable doubt.

If you don’t understand the concept of reasonable doubt and burden of proof, then you should just stfu and not comment on court cases.

Also the bar for a guilty charge would’ve been lower had the proesection gone for manslaughter, but hot shot young DA wanted to score career and political points in a nationally politicized case :loser: Which is another fooked up aspect of the system.

had they just broke a 2x4 over his head...instead...
That would kill you most of the time. The times it did not you would likely be a slobbering mentally handicapped mess for the rest of your life. Blunt objects kill far more people in this country than AR 15s. The numbers for ALL murders committed with ALL rifles actually run pretty close to death by blunt instrument.

I hate head trauma
Just remember the first rule of head injuries, ‘tis better to give than to receive.

Secondary rule is leave immediately, ditch your jacket, turn right, then left, blend and avoid lights and cameras.

Seriously.

2x4s are more deadly than guns.

Ok

Did you let Pentagon know this?

4 lives laid to waste.
over what?
More guns, more better.

If Arbery had a gun, everything would have been better.

Majority of people on this planet are stupid and volatile.
And those are the ones that want guns the most.

Why would anyone want to give them easy, unrestricted access to firearms is beyond me.

Is that what I said? :poke:

Everything I did say is true. You can easily look it up for yourself.

Almost 4 times as many people are killed with bladed weapons on an annual basis compared to ALL rifles. That does not mean knives are more deadly than rifles, it just means that knives are used to kill more frequently than rifles. Probably due to accessibility and ease of concealment.

None of that is my opinion. It’s just fact.

My main point was simply that breaking a 2 x 4 over someone’s head is going to kill someone the vast majority of the time. Real life vs TV shows.
