Looks like the Elon Musk of the past, with all of his pro American jargon, was playing America to leech off subsidies before they collapse the economy.

He'a hedging his bets now like a good little globalist. CCP numbah won! Americans entitled!

Guess having individual rights is the new "entitled" and slave labor is the new "hard working."

Even ifailalot knows better than to post that garbage anymore.

Do you ever leave your echo chamber and cross reference the far-right garbage you read with factual sources?

Nope.

Corporate officers and directors have fiduciary and other obligations to the corporation and the corporate shareholders. One of the primary ones is operating profitably. Corporations are really quite simple in their purpose and operations, yet no one seems to understand why they behave the way the do.

A corporate officer that does not act in the best financial interests of the corporation and its shareholder is soon replaced and/or sued.

Sustainable profits aren't good enough, investors and shareholders demand constant growth. And thats when capitalism becomes a sickness.

That makes the corporation like a pyscopath.

That is why you need rules.

There are a ton of rules, knucklehead. IRS, SEC, and so on and so forth. If you want to restrict outsourcing, and prevent moving corporate operations overseas, you can't expect the CEO of a large corporation to do that. Government has to, and that's where it gets complicated.

So... you are evidently a protectionist, don't want US companies manufacturing overseas, and vice versa? To a certain extent, I agree, but we now live in a global economy, and it is a very complex problem to solve.

While there are obvious and unfair irregularities worldwide, the only really big problem is China, with some smaller Asian countries following their lead.
