Looks compelling. What are your theories/goals on this?early rendering I'm thinking about (still trying to figure out how to remove the fin boxes), not sure if the cutter can achieve

Ellis EricksonIf I got one it would be a super stubby/wide/curvy little thing.
They're visually appealing, but as sharky stated adding an unnecessary bobbleLooks compelling. What are your theories/goals on this?
Notice how his edge boards have evolved into utilising a tri plane bottom for more performance.Ellis Ericson has some pretty sweet designs happening, check out this edgeboard post and video, after last ride he swings his board around revielin "3 mini power blades" Basically a powerblade thruster set up. REminds me of that Curren part in the original Lost 5'5x19.25 when he under the guidance of Greenaugh shapes his spin off of an M Peterson shape and then the finished product is equiped wiyth fixed, what looks to be a precursor to the powerblade thrister... 25+ years ago

Controlled looseness is right on the money. A unique and fun surfing sensation for sure! Your earlier posts inspired me to dust my edge off and I had two really fun sessions on it. Looking forward to more when the waves get right.Rode my edge board today (6'2 ) for the first time.
Power Glide fin
There were few waves that came through that I thought were decent enough to give the board a real chance.
The ones that were enough, after getting the hang of the bottom turn...fuckin wow.
So much speed, the way the board feels on rail is completely different, and there is this element of controlled looseness.
It is a totally different surfing experience. A "how have I been missing this all my life, consider the possibilities" moment.
Lots of dopamine flowing and the waves were utter dogshit.
Only problem now is I'm dying to see what a thruster or single setup is like at around 5'8.
This is how it starts.Rode my edge board today (6'2 ) for the first time.

No its unsigned I don't know who made it. Bought it off some guy in Hillcrest. This is how it starts.
Is it an Andreini?
I may have mentioned this before, but when I spoke with Mike Wallace (@surf_iconoclast on IG)about edge boards and Ellis at the Boardroom, he told me edge boards are very trackie using multi-fin and theorized that these boards evolved due to this. Ellis obviously makes more traditional single fin edge boards as well.Notice how his edge boards have evolved into utilising a tri plane bottom for more performance
Ellis's multifins are chine, not edge.I may have mentioned this before, but when I spoke with Mike Wallace (@surf_iconoclast on IG)about edge boards and Ellis at the Boardroom, he told me edge boards are very trackie using multi-fin and theorized that these boards evolved due to this. They're single concave throughout with a chine railCall them what you will. I thought they were closer to tri-plane. My own knock off
Welcome to the alt side.I rode mine in really good long hollow right-handers today.
What an incredible feeling of speed and lightness and looseness and still control.
Very excited waiting on my 5'8 from Ellis coming end of this month.
?Welcome to the alt side.
When will you be reworking your entire quiver?
