I have this surf knot issue (knot/bunyon on my back foot). I deal with it by always wearing booties (for the month or so a year where its too warm for them where I live, I still wear one bootie on my back foot). I'm never in less than a fullsuit so it doesn't look too funny.
might look into this one. otherwise if I ever make it to warm water I'll be spring suit one reef bootie man (ssorbm).
