Mask up, dummy

It did wonders!
I flew across the country two days ago. Two flights, three airports, two bars and no mask. But you know what didn’t bother me one bit? The woman sitting across the aisle from me who chose to wear a mask. I did not care, I’m a man! :nana:

You're talking about scoring strangers at the airport bar? I thought certain regular old cis people didn't have to worry about aids like we did when it was new. I can't say I didn't worry, but I did a lot of sketchy stuff behind some drinks especially when out of I thought , yeah whenever I could. Until raw if, whenever.

Aids is still something kids are really worried about?

You've come a long way since when you admitted to masking up outside because "everyone else was doing it"

I have one for you to ponder. Our dogs always lick the plates, pans, etc clean before washing. The cast iron skillets get used a lot in our house and one of their favorites. But you're not supposed to wash cast iron with soap. So my SOP is, after the dogs lick them clean, they go on the stove with the flame on high for a few minutes. I figure this takes care of any ickies. But my wife feels different. She wants them rinsed with water first then heated. This seems like an unnecessary step to me and probably not doing much. What say you errbers?

By the way, labrador drool needs to be studied either by science or the sex industry. It has some amazing lubricity.

I didn’t make it up, and it’s worse than I mentioned. He blamed his “paranoid hypochondriac” wife for masking up.

I can probably dig up the posts if you like. A search for “paranoid” with his handle should serve it up.

I only recall it because it’s a remarkably lame and shitty thing to say, by the way.

Uh, no. I said that I followed the policies of the businesses I went into. Their house, their rules. I also had sympathy for the minimum wage employees and businesses who the government used as proxies for their asinine policies. I didn’t care to put them in a position where they had to choose between calling me out or getting called out by their manager.

I don’t recall the wife comment, but that was probably an add on to the reason why I masked WHEN requested by the place of business. She was also pregnant at the time, so yeah.

The above is worlds apart from choosing to wear a mask outdoors because “some other people do it” :roflmao:

Um, why

Funny how the guy bringing wives into the discussion posted this gem:

"For instance, the other night my wife and I were talking about a family issue and at one point she launched into a button pushing diatribe. Knowing me so well she knows exactly what buttons to press and she was banging on them. I managed to keep my cool but only because I knew that she was just trying to persuade me about something and I agreed with her. I didn’t choose to have these buttons."

Receipts pulled :loser: :roflmao:

Heart of gold.

If I remember right, the discussion was particularly hilarious because it started with comments surrounding a Rogan episode where he talked about ‘Covid revisionist history’.

You seem to have little respect for your wife so it’s unsurprising that she would be incapable of moving you emotionally in any way.
