For sure, starting a dispensary's got its ups and downs, with costs swinging big time, like anywhere from $150K to a couple million bucks, thanks to all the red tape, renting a spot, stocking up, and playing by the rules. But if you nail the location and how you run the show, it could seriously pay off.
You should hear the dispensary owners here in Costa Mesa whine to the City Council as if they are the most oppressed businessmen in the history of business.

My states full up with these delta 8, 10/THC-A smoke shops on every corner but limited #s of actual dispensaries. The people doing it the legal above the table way are gonna be under-rewarded for their integrity. In my area there's little interest in variety or boutique like aspects as far as I can tell.
It's just odd uncharted territory for an old pothead. Some of these kids gots some soul, but it's not getting passed along now, so casual. Everyday.Nothing to see here?

Got a seed from a friend, put it in the ground, well, actually a big clay pot, about a month ago. I had forgotten all about it. Will check it later this evening.

On another note, had to wait until the heat wave died down a bit but the Mac 1 and Chimera are in the grow bags. Lot of sun lately so hoping they flourish.

Still have some of the Pablo's Revenge from last year so that's been keeping me going.

Pablo’s Revenge? You’re bold smoking that.

:monkey:
It's such a tragedy. There was so much moisture last year, the plants were starting to develop mold. Had to harvest a week or two early.

What could have been.

Semi-schwagy, gets you high but not as much as it could/should, and generates a godawful amount of resin. Beats paying for weed, though.
