Caution: These boards are made for high performance surfing.
none the less wouldn’t mind feeling one up. stock dims seem a little wonky. kinda more appealing in “mick” dims, imo.

are dhd boards typically back footed?

In what way is this a “new“ design?

Glassing — Stock lite glassing (4x4 x 3/4 OZ)

Rocker — Flat entry rocker into a slight tail lift

Concave — Deep single into slight double concave

Rails — Medium

Other — Tiger claws over fins for strength & durability

Tail — Squash tail

Fins — Thruster, 3 Fin *FCS 2 or Futures

Doesn't seem all that dissimilar from the DHD Project 15 I had years ago- flatter rocker, single to double, wider in nose and tail...

Was a great board so I assume the Utopia might be a good one too.

I'm interested in trying one. Sounds similar to how they tightened up the fin cluster for Steph's board(s) she was riding in the Finals. HPSB's are tough for me since there's a small window where I'd choose to ride one over my 5'8 Stamps Flare and what's my step-up, a 6'0 Ghost.

I held on to my 5'11 CI Fever for a years, but it didn't get too much water time and I eventually sold it. It would seem so strange looking down at the Fever's relatively narrow nose compared to my main board at the time, a 5'9 CI NB2. The Fever would still go really well, but it took a few waves to get over the aesthetics.

It shows how the rocker is balanced.

The most rocker curve is from the middle to the nose of the board. Speed is created from the middle of the board to the tail.

In other words, it's a back footed board.
I'm glad it shows me where the tail was. Admittedly, I was a bit confused on its location.

Now time to study up on the rocker, which appears to only be in the front 1/3

How do we know that the front fins are set on a "twin fin placement"?

Has anyone measured it?

Otherwise, looks like a standard issue HPSB with a nice outline and rocker curve.
