this is such a pet peeve of mine. people taking off way too deep then just pumping behind all the sections, wasting them all - rather than letting someone who's in position go and actually do turns/surf the wave."Inlanders are too agro." lol.
At least that's what a friend from Oceanside told me. Actually he's from Carlsbad but lives in Oceanside. Anyways... he's a complicated fellow.

@deforest that board could be perfect for you… it’s been on 19 days. I would message the owner and ask him for his personal dims since the board was a custom, as long as he’s in reasonable size range of yourself I would offer him 400 bucks and snag that thing.
If I had the money right now, I would be grabbing it.
Can’t tell what’s up with the Takayama I would try to get more info and a pic of the outline and foil. Could be a good one as well.

The dims on that G&S sound massive. Thanks for offering to let me borrow. I'm gonna see if i can snap one.
I think you're going to get a better experience on something longer but I think the G&S or MSF would be a great call either way.

A least 6'6" anything shorter you go wider in width and nose and depending what you are after in style will dictate out line you need. @ReForest watch some MP footage and then maybe five summer stories to help decide
