The same video posted by team USA every time... and it comes under the category of 'not much' since it's just a few seconds stretched out in slo mo.

All this talk about your great shapers making great gliders and that and the CJ clip are about it... there are couple of other knee high point break slides about but considering the size of your group it's fail since I'm only one bloke and have posted more video than all of you put together.

I'm not sure what you are saying there.

I'm talking about extrapolation vs scaling, the circular arc rocker is just the simplest one to use as an example.

Dang it I rarely post threads any more and look what happened lol. I decided on that 11'3 b and the adreini style. Now somehow I have to figure out how to make a template that long with that contiouse curve. I wish GWS was here so I could get the outline cut and I could shape the rest of the board. It will take me longer to make a good template than shape this thing lol

There's some nice looking surfing on this clip with Skip Frye on what looks like a bit of a glider, cool to see the man being himself too, and Josh Hall. a pity that there's no scene like that where i live, but we have our bonuses I suppose.

You'd fit right in down here Luddite. Your boards would loose all the rocker because you'd find its not necessary in the waves in San Diego. From what I gather you live in the Tourmaline of New Zealand, which is a time warp of about 50 years in the past , which is cool if that is what your into.

I still would be more than happy to surf one of your boards all over this town. And I'm sure they work just fine.

We all have to remember waves are so diffrent from place to place.

The only thing you'd hate about this so called youtopia is that it is flicking outrageously expensive to live in. I think we all live vicariously through you with the idea of a workshop and hippy lifestyle and are still able to live close to the coast, surf, and not be too caught up the the capitalist world. We all read Davey Crocket as kids.

I'm bumping this thread.

I just ordered a 10'6 glider from Eric Christenson. It's his pelican model. Stocked!!

Will post some pics when it's done.

Eric is also a super easy guy to order boards from. Great experience dialing in an order. Can't wait to see how it comes out.
