The Chicoms have never had COVID under control.
They can't control it. No one can.
The numbers they've released regarding infections and deaths are total bullshit.
Over 1/4 of the population lives in poverty. Lots of COPDers, not to mention other chronic medical conditions that don't receive care.
These people are toast when it comes to previous waves of COVID.
The death toll is likely through the roof, but no one yet knows where all the bodies are buried.
The only thing the world knows about COVID in China is the image portrayed in major cities.
We only know what we're allowed to see.
The "test everyone" strategy is an exercise in futility. China knows this but when people like hal9000 see these sorts of images on TV it tickles their pickle with adoration for the Chinese.
An outbreak at the Olympics would be really bad for China's image domestically and abroad as it would make it very apparent the Chicom strategy does not work.
The Chicom government must maintain an image of control.

Speaking of leeching, figured out a way to beat slot machines is to watch someone take beatings on one, sit down after they leave, and cash in off their jinx. It's even more effective if they watch it happen - the gods like that sh!t. But people do get irritated when you do that to them multiple times.
