Earlier today, we reported on the Costa Rican law enforcement officer who flashed his firearm at disobedient surfers, which led to three arrests.

For those of you defending the beach shut downs....
Where is the line?
How long will you sit and wait?weeks, months, years?
Will you defend the cops when they beat, taze, and shoot american surfers?
Will you come on here and tell us the surfers deserve to get beat because theyre selfish for wanting freedom?

At least skaters will still jump a fence a d get in trouble for their art. You should all take a lesson from the tico in the story above....

my friend and i were taken to the police yesterday. miles of beach and NO ONE around. just as we were leaving, cops arrived.
somebody called and said we were at the beach.

3 hours later and $25 fine.
so cops thinking, if people see you doing it, everybody will think they have the right to go to the beach as well. Besides their order is pretty much "No one gets a free pass. No excuses. No pardons..."

but this firing shots and sh!t is too excessive. Policemen and tired and pissed, doing extra work, working double shifts and exposing themselves to the disease.
easier to get the virus at the police station than on the beach.

Guy shouldnt have been a dick right off....should have used his interpersonal skills to spark a discussion with the lifeguard. We need those guys on our side. Same with cops. They dont want to be dicks. Use honey, not vinegar..
