This will be my third trip to Central America coming up on Monday. I am an East Coast surfer and know how to make my own EC forecast however, I have had a lot of trouble making forecasts for the West Coasts of Countries.
If you look at https://www.fnmoc.navy.mil/PUBLIC/WAM/all_natl.html and look at anything from about the 14th on you will see a little storm developing to the NW of Costa Rica. A lot of the Swell Energy appears to be heading West but then there looks to be some swell energy coming from the SW. This part of it gets tricky to me. If someone could hook me up with a basic explanation of how to make a reliable forecast or what to expect Next week that would be a huge favor.
I have plane tickets and a rental car. I am ready to go where the waves are. If I can figure out where that it.
