Funny as hell to watch the meltdown over Stone and Vindman and the republican boycott of the House Intelligence Committee hearing today.

It's looking much better for Flynn now too. Prosecutors are walking back their demand for jail time in order to keep Flynn's guilty plea on the table. Flynn has a case for acquittal, and should not settle with anything short of acquittal or charges dropped.

The amazing thing is that anyone still pays attention to CNN and the rest

like, after 3+ yrs of them being consistently wrong, why would you consider what they “report” at all?

CNN is arguably an anti-Trump version of Fox News. Both have some factual news reporting during the day, but in the evening turn into Pro-Trump or Anti-Trump propaganda machines.

CNN, Fox, MSNBC, Sinclar, etc. are not to be considered reliable news sources for anything that can be even remotely politicized.

If HRC had won the election these roles would have been reversed. There'd be a lot less material to work with because - unlike with Trump - she wouldn't have made a lot of verbal gaffes, she wouldn't have been clueless and inexperienced with the inner workings of how DC politics and the federal govt works, and her staff wouldn't have consisted of a bunch of people from her opposition who had gone all-in on committing the palace coup.

But aside from that the people who are giving Trump a pass would be doing the same things Trump's haters are doing now, and those haters would reverse in that role and be giving her the benefit of the doubt.

The Dems might not have retaken the House in 2016, though, so for sure there'd have been an impeachment and the protracted "trial' in the Senate which would have inevitably also come up short on the vote it takes to remove her from office.

The only difference is the left would claim HRCs opposition was motivated solely by sexism and misogyny instead of politics. The plan was to trade the race card for the gender card, but then to otherwise continue to deal that card from the bottom of the deck.

In other words, politics as usual for both sides.

Trump is not “politics as usual.”
That's primarily because he hasn't spent his life in politics. But the left has called every POTUS candidate on the right the threat to all mankind since I was a kid, so that much has been politics as usual.
