Or their blank density/glassing strength which means they can look like an angry wife has attacked them with a ball peen hammer after a few surfs. With all the technical advances in materials in the last 50 years its a head scratcher...planned obsolescence I suppose but I'm not signing up for one at those prices either.

Have a decent run in stock, what size you looking for? If it's not in the shop we can drop one off from the factory!
based on this:

When sizing any of our Mid designs, we recommend about 10” above your height for good to very good surfers; 12” for average to good; and 14-16” for beginner to average ability.

i guess the 6’11 would be proper. I like the blue.
