Chronic Sinusitis? Related to surfing??

Hey, i promise this will be my last post here!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Ok.. For about a good 10 months now, I've had this really chronic throat clearing.. all I can say is that it's very annoying. Many have convinced me that it's normal and that because of my paranoia about chronic illnesses or malignancies I've overestimated it.. In any case, my nose always seems to be a bit congested, I sometimes experience post nasal drip.. and I've just started actually trying to spit out the mucus from the throat.. it helps a bit.. so does thinning it by drinking water.

But it's still an ongoing problem. Could this be chronic sinusitis? Is it related to surfing? Any thoughts about how to further diagnose or treat this problem???

(once again, I'm 16)

thanks a lot

I get this after a cold in SF (where it is cold and damp). About 4 days on sudafed kills it for me. This suggests it is a mild bacterial infection thriving in the cold damp environment leftover after a cold. So, I'd try something like sudafed for a few days first. It'll defnitely dry out your throat and sinuses.
