I believe there used to be information about this board around here. I'm thinking of ordering one.

Anyone who has owned one got any experiences with them?

How do you size them?

Cheers!

I got a 5'1 ocean racer, I size them 2 inches shorter than my Christenson Fish. It's a fun board for mushy summer swell, but it can also handle bigger stuff.

Here's a review I found.

I'm 6'1 165ish lbs (~75kg) what sort of size should I be looking at?

Usually ride 27-29 ltrs for standard short boards but not adverse to a bit more volume in shorter lengths.

So there’s a 52 and a 54 available here. Didn’t hear back from anyone at Christenson. Anyone got any thoughts on what I should go? Are these sensitive to volume or going up is better?

as a 6’1 human I think 5’2 sounds too short unless you’re a narrow stance surfer or quite skilled and can surf a lunch tray.

agree. i was checking a 5-4 out the other day at my local. guy was kook anyway but struggling none the less. im like 6-1 180# and thought no way is that enough board.

id want a 5-6 around here. a couple 3 inches shorter than your fish seems right.

hit jon up again. hes usually pretty solid

Cheers guys good to know. I don't mind surfing short boards but this will be a bit of a groveler so more volume is probably better. Will hold out till they get some more.

You can keep calling until you get Jon on the phone.

Thats how I got boards ordered through them.

Had them sent up to my local shop.

It’s a bit harder here in Aus, would cost me a fortune to keep calling. I think if I went custom I’d go through the shop anyway.
