I just have one question.

How/why tf wasn't Will Smith ushered out of the venue immediately following the incident? They should have followed him to his seat and removed him on the spot.

I just can't figure this one out. Under the circumstances it was the responsibility of the hosts of the show to remove the aggressor from the event but they did nothing.

I am mystified by the way this was handled by the Academy.

Cuz A-listers are like royalty in American culture and normal rules don’t apply. He seemed to be well aware of what he could get away with, assuming it was for real.
