channel islands surf trip

I got here late but I'f be curious how you fared?

it's a 35-foot sparkman and stephens design, fiberglass hull, aft cabin, cut away forefoot. it's made by chris craft, one of the few sailboats they made. 1964 was a good year for fiberglass, they laid it on thick. me and the woman and the cat bombed around various parts of the world in mexico and the caribbean for about four years, and have been in ventura for a little more than a year.

um, bottom fell out and it didn't come together unfortunately. i was out that previous weekend on strictly a sailing/snorkeling trip and the swell hadn't shown yet. bet it was good though based on my neighbor loading his quiver onto his boat. aiming for the next one.

very cool offer. Let us know when your going again. I'm going to be making a run up to the channel islands late in Sept. from San Diego. I'll be in Catalina for a bit this week and then heading up to Anacapa and Santa Cruz. I'm going to do some fishing and diving but definitely want to get some surf while I am there. Any tips on spots on Santa Cruz? My brother has a boat in channel islands harbor as well so maybe we can buddy boat over some time.
