Thought I'd share some new and unique board stoke with you all.
Had a 6'1" PU double bump canard quad from DJ Kane (DK) several years back
that was a phenomenal board from waist high to as big as I want anything to
do with. Always was curious to try another from him in eps and finally bit the
bullet and placed the order. Not surprisingly it was a pleasure to deal with DJ
again and got to chat with him at his shop as he hand tuned the shape in for me.
I nearly had his shop glass it as well, but have also been very curious to try
a carbon fiber glass job by Justin Ternes since checking out many of them at
the last Boardroom show, so I went that route for this order.
Justin was also a pleasure to deal with and does beautiful work. Both guys are
good, stoked humans! Props, gentlemen.

Board is now waxed and ready for some swell!
Here are the details:
6'0" x 21" x 2 3/4"
Stringerless 2 lb. eps blank, obviously glassed with carbon, combined with
a biaxial cloth Justin was stoked about.
Lokbox fin boxes paired with Rainbow turbo canard quads (Speed Dialers).
Board packs some foam with nice rails and foiled out tail with nice edges.
Nice and light and should be uber strong.

Anyway, I'm stoked.
Enjoy!

Swordfish redo?
Rad board J! Is it Swordfishy or more along the lines of DK’s version of a Speed Dialer? Either way, looks like a good time. Love the LokBoxes. Did you have the fins already or were you able to buy them somewhere?
