You could, technically, sail into Puerto. we used to dive down to a sailboat that was sunk in the bay there. I guess you could sail into Salina Cruz, also, in time for next season's swells

There’s anchorage in Puerto, I understand it gets exciting on macking souths. Salina Cruz would be like Lázaro. Anchorage within paddling distance from surf is tough to find. Behind Ixtapa Island to Playa Linda is a 20 minute paddle with good protection.
