Vans owns the Triple Crown which is different from the WSL. Included in the Triple Crown is the name Pipeline Masters. Not 100% sure but Sunset was called the World Cup and Haleiwa was the Hawaiian Open. Vans owns those naming rights/brands.

The Pipe contest in Dec that John and Moana won was the Vans Pipeline Masters.

This CT that just ran is the (Insert sponsor here) Pipeline Pro.

I think you’re not quite right. The Triple Crown was separate from IPS/ASP/WSL. ASP bought the Triple Crown from Randy Rarrick and Fred Hemmings and their partners but when ASP became WSL the only CT was Pipe. WSL tried to run the Triple Crown with Sunset and Haleiwa being Prime events lots of points toward qualifying to the CT. They had a hard time finding sponsors for the Sunset and Haleiwa events. Hard Rock, O’Neil used to do Sunset, Cholos even sponsored Haleiwa once. They ended up selling the Triple Crown to Vans. Including the brand Pipe Masters.

Pre-Covid Vans was the main money behind those other two events even with other sponsors. Then they had those couple years of the digital Triple Crown and starting last year the invite only Vans Pipe Masters.
