Sooooooo much hype and expectations on Caroline especially at the East Coast events when she was a teen. Way too much in my humble opinion. I think the coaching/over-coaching Caroline got to try to meet the expectations messed up her surfing.

I never said anything about competitive results until today...when you went out of your way and topped my post made months ago and started asking about competitive results (which I could care less about).
She absolutely rips, but she is not on the level of "best surfer ever" from Oceanside.
Admittedly, I have only surfed with her once, small Backdoor some years ago so I can't say what she looks like in person today. Going by her Instagram clips she is well on her way to becoming the best on the women's tour, and possibly the most successful competitive surfer from Oceanside.
I hope your attempts at arguing in court are better than your attempts at arguing on de erBBs

I've had conversations with people from Oside and that is the call that was made. She is, and will be, the best competative surfer to come out of Oside.
Lucas is 100% from Oceanside. He went to school with my daughter for many years when they were young. I think he said on the Late Night with Poody Podcast that he surfed for Carlsbad because the owner of his Sponsor, Sundiego Boardshops, asked him to surf for them. But, if you listen to the Pod, he feels kind of wierd about it.Lucas Owens surfs for Carlsbad boardriders too, which is sad because I see them in Oceanside all the time (especially Lucas). They are playing on the wrong team!
