Hey, my beach, my wave, stay/go home.I knew you'd come around!
Yes, that is how it usually works. Those should be built first where the jobs are not out in the boondocks.
How dare you pick apart the strawman? THERE WILL BE HIGH RISES IN CAMBRIA IF THE LIBS GET THEIR WAY GODDAMMIT.Those should be built first were the jobs are not out in the boondocks.
It's human nature. It's the American way.
Years ago I did some math on this kinda concept. And those high rises will prevent sprawl once you get the commuter train.
Throw that high speed rail right over Casa de Rice.
Work in SF, live in Morro Bay.
Or maybe Cambria should have to pay their teachers enough so they can afford to live there instead of commuting from Salinas? How dare you pick apart the strawman? THERE WILL BE HIGH RISES IN CAMBRIA IF THE LIBS GET THEIR WAY GODDAMMIT.
Holy unrealistic BatmanI'll explain again:
F--k everyone who drives 100 miles a week. In all holes.
Where will Cambria come up with the money? Property tax is out, income tax is already high...maybe there is some sort of consumption tax that could be assessed to fund this compensation?Or maybe Cambria should have to pay their teachers enough so they can afford to live there instead of commuting from Salinas?
That's a whole 'nother subject.Or maybe Cambria should have to pay their teachers enough so they can afford to live there instead of commuting from Salinas?
What's the average home price in Cambria? Isn't it around 800 grand?
So, I looked it up.Years ago I did some math on this kinda concept.
Pretty much always cheaper over time to live as close as you can to where you spend most of your waking hours (which is sadly work for this fine fresh fellow). Commuting is soul stealing.
the median asking price for a home in San Francisco is $1,299,000.
You just demanded that. Why would anyone demand that? What need is there for that?
Commuter train would be cool, though there's already a pretty useful/used bus.
Holy unrealistic BatmanHoly unrealistic Batman
I drive 70 miles A DAY
And then the economy goes to sh!tPeople stop discretionary driving at $5.
Hey man. We have already established that everyone moved to the suburbs to avoid blacks.Hate to say it, but higher gas, less traffic could actually encourage OC surfers spending more winter time at Blacks and more Valley surfers at Trestles.

Not going to happen.
Can't have the rubes living with the haves.
Too gauche.
Yee gads.I drive 17 double lane road miles to work and from work, 4 days a week. I exceed the 100 quota. I don’t drive far to surf
