I noticed the sliding tab in the fin box on my bonzer is cracked, so I'm worried the screw that attaches to it and holds the fin in place will cause it to eventually break. My question is can I just buy a new tab for the box? There is nothing wrong with the fin itself, so I hoping I don't have to buy a new fin to fix this. Thanks for help :wave2:

New board. You need a new board. Pretty sure those tabs are all custom to the boards themselves—sucks man.
Thanks GWS.GWS said:Any surf shop should be able to set you up with a new plate and screw. Threads can vary, so get both. Jimmy the old plate out and drop the new one in and you are ready to go. Should take you all of 50 seconds.
Or buy a new one.
