That sums up "Bonzer as a daily driver". Nonsense!

I rode an 5'6 MLV and a 5'9 egg as a daily driver for years. Egg is an excellent option for varied waves. Depends on the type of waves you ride, but you can ride a bonzer as a daily driver - ignore the above comments.

I rode Senor Pato's (approx 40 liter) octafish on a few waves. I loved it, but they were overhead waves and that is not my daily routine.

Can't fondle first....

The thing I find interesting about these threads is that Bonzer riders don’t give a rip what anybody else rides. On the other side of the equation we have a certain ilk that is so insecure they become emotionally disturbed at the mere idea of anyone riding something they don’t ride. (A Bonzer)

Maybe try and not be so insecure? Get some counseling? Consider medication? Or maybe do some reading?

I sold my 6-10 bonzer which would have been very nice to have these past couple of weeks. I rode some really fun waves on Friday and kept thinking, in those conditions, slightly overhead reef break, the bonzer would be so fun. I need a new daily driver because, unfortunately my aging back is not happy on the 6-3 I made, especially if the waves are small and quick. It actually works a little better when it shoulder/head high because there is a little more time to pop up. Anyways, I've been thinking about what to make as my old man's crutch DD...The 6-3 is a thruster and I have to pump the thing which is not the style of surfing I aspire to....

All joking aside, after watching Northern Shores on his Golden Door model...he's got good style.
Maybe shape something similar put put some concaves in the vee?


ps I just realized my OP said "bonkers." I think I'll leave it. Might be the name of my next "model."
