My friend needs some board repair. The center fin box on her Bonzer needs repair. Looking for someone in the N.W. because she needs to air freight this board via Alaska Airlines. This is the only option of shipping.

Thanks!

Barracuda in Victoria BC and board medic (stefan aftanas) in tofino both do good work. Barracuda are actually located right next to the airport outside Victoria (which Alaska definitely fly to), they could probably pick it up easily. Everything is more expensive in Canada though, you may have cheaper options in the states, and I don't know if there would be hassles with customs either. I can't think of anywhere in Washington close to an airport, maybe someone does ding repair in Seattle? There are a couple of surf shops there but its a long way from the ocean...

I don't know Oregon.

Sadly, I've had the opportunity to try out a couple repair options in Oregon.

The one's I had excellent results with...
EPS: Bob Russo http://www.russosurfboards.com/
Poly: Ocean Pulse http://www.oceanpulsesurf.com/contact.htm

neither of them are close to the airport in Portland, plenty of hipsters are though.

These are all located in the Seattle area, and would be fairly close to SeaTac airport. No experience with repairs done by any of them, but looks like Kess does repairs & pretty sure wavehounds does also. Not sure if the other two do, but they might be able to give some recommendations if not
