Board Hum

Curious if anyone else has a board, or perhaps it's the fins, that create a humming noise at high speed.
-not a bad thing IMO, but can distract me, makes me think someone is hooting at me.

Fin hum; none at this time; had a chip in the coating on some old FG-7s and they'd hum. Maybe check trailing edges and sand a little if you want it to go away.

This is correct, it's the fins and the trailing edges need to be sanded as they're creating an inefficient turbulance or something causing drag.

Thank will sand them down, hate putting sand paper to $100+ fins, oh well.

They hum because they don’t know the words?!?

One of my first short boards, a Michael Barron Byrne with glass ons, would hum at speed. Was just confirmation I was finally learning to ride it correctly....

If not, sand the fins

I read on swaylocks that waxing the bottom of your board will fix this issue.
