hmmmmm, wonder where this is?
The day that spot landed on the cover of Surfers Journal was the end of that 'secret' spot.

There are very few secret spots any more, and to find those, you have to go to ends of the earth and hope you get the right tide, swell direction, size, and wind. They only remain secrets because they are very hard to get to. But give it time, I'm sure those will be blown up in the name of corporate-blogger-van-clickbait-lifestyle too.

Secret spot vs blowing up spot...people with a "don't blow up the spot" attitude don't want pictures of any spot being shared. "Don't blow up salt creek bro!"

I remember surfing there with a roommate back in the early 90s (maybe surfed it 20-25 times ever).

He was amping because he used to surf it all the time in the 80s, after being shown the place by a guy who used to surf it all the time in the 70s.

Dudes and brahs, I love this spot! I’ve told all my bro brahs about it and they love it too! We all take cbd edibles and just rule this spot! CBD rules too!! Love this place!:waving:

Yeah I noticed people who have only a few posts have been coming out of the woodwork on all the cbd threads. They obviously don't realize how many of you erBBers get more than 3 times your daily cbd on a daily basis, long before anyone started pushing the snake oil stuff.

I got to surf this wave with a couple of buddies and a few Jamaicans locals for weeks on end during the late 80's and early 90's. Just unbelievable times out there -- thinking I'd been dropped into a magazine article every morning. Then Hurricane Ivan destroyed the wave, so it was ok to write about it. I still can't get over how fortunate I was. In my ignorant youth, I kind of realized it at the time. But now, I really, really, really realize it. http://thescuttlefish.com/2014/08/a-postcard-from-jamaica-greetings-from-zoo-the-greatest-wave-youll-never-surf/
