Can't speak for the product (I hate those hard plastic pull tabs on Creatures leash cuffs, but this is a decent combo deal at $129

Modulator 4/3mm Hooded Chest Zip Wetsuit - Black

These Muchachos are one of my favorite thruster sets. Buttery carves, subtle spring out of turns that feels fluid linking between maneuvers. I already got a backup pair last year from an erBBer or else I’d buy these for $96

Volcom wetsuits are pretty damn similar to the basic needs suits, without the smoothie panel. It's ok but not the best. If you lived in socal and wanted a 4/3 hooded suit for some chilly days it would be perfect. For NE, I'd prefer something else.

+1 for SD waves of all size. My goto thruster set when I want some squirt out of turns.

center trailer is an F4 template. good for mix and match into other sets.

mine are the OG set advertised as eco friendly bc they had epoxy instead of polyester resin. Lulz.

Here's the link.

I have an RB2. It's fine, but I need an XLS instead of an L. It bunches up in the knees and is tight in the shoulders.

I'm now considering a foamie for my 4 year old.
Anyone able to quickly explain the difference between the DR 1 and DR 2?

DR1 is a consistent thickness throughout the suit (i.e. 3mm) and a chest zip.

DR2 is either a 3/2 or 4/3 with a backzip.

If XL is “tight in the shoulders”, wouldn't XLS be shorter in the torso, and even tighter?

Back zip is just easier and no apparent downside unless its very cold. Plenty flexible, leaks a little easier.
