I only watched first 10min so far and it was good. But this is always a major red flag for me.
No he didn’t.
He named Lindsey Graham specifically as one of the tools and praised DP Moynihan, a democrat, by name. That was only politician he said anything nice about.
He also lamented the citizens United decision.
It’s not his fault that dems are way more into this regulatory capture scheme than pubs.
Yeah, except cstreet either didn’t watch all of it, ignored parts of it or is full of sh!t.
He names specific people, not parties. Some are republicans some are dems.
It’s more dems because those are the people generally pushing the regulations he’s speaking about.
The only politician he says anything nice about was democrat.

Bill Gurley is a liberal.
Right, republicans don’t even try to protect the public from big business. And of course they never profit from big business in any way. They’re honest and only work for the good of the people.
Nobody said that.
What you love to ignore is the fact that the “help” put forth that you cheer for did the exact opposite. It made things worse. Doing nothing would have been better.
It’s hardly news that legislation often works the opposite of the way it’s supposed to work. Why would regulation be any different?
If you noticed, Gurley didn’t suggest that less regulation was the answer. He suggested that more transparency was needed.
